Athlete Genius is an ambitious start-up that aims to promote growth and opportunity in 

the athletic community. Their goal is to cut out the white noise of social media and connect athletes with coaches, recruiters, and sports therapy professionals through their online platform. 

My approach to any project starts with a core message; what does this project have to say to its audience. From there I break it down into its key elements and begin to build out the design. Fortunately, the client had already blue and orange for their colours, which perfectly aligned with the perception of their brand reinforcing the direction of the mark.

Blue represents the core message; connection, strategy, and opportunity, while orange represents the brands energy and personality; engagement, motion, and momentum. These same ideas are reflected in the mark. The joined letters convey cohesion while the circling electrons express energy and motion, together representing the goal of the brand, to connect the athletic community.

Additional designs included business cards, trade show banners, as well as a logo reveal animation that was requested for a presentation.
